Supporting Animals, One Mile at a Time
Hi, I’m Brittany, and I’m training for a Marathon with a mission.
Every mile I run is dedicated to helping animals in need. Through my marathon training, I’m raising funds for two incredible nonprofits that are close to my heart:
-
Livingston County Animal Shelter
-
Horses Haven
Your support helps turn miles into meals, training runs into medical care, and race day into real impact.

My Inspiration
What is going to keep me motivated and excited to continue while training? How can I help others through this five month process? How large can my impact be? So I decided to not only stretch myself with prepping for a Marathon (p.s. I still don't enjoy stretching), but also to put my journey on display in hopes to benefit organizations that carry meaning to me.

Horses Haven
Horses Haven's mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, retrain, and re-home at risk equines (horses, ponies, donkeys and mules). We assist law enforcement agencies and accept surrenders from those in need. Our goal is to find every horse in our care a forever home through adoption. This is accomplished through medical rehabilitation and training to ensure each horse, rideable or not, has the skills needed to be a good equine citizen.

Livingston County Animal Shelter
In the heart of Livingston County, LCAS's mission is to build a better community for the pets and people through compassion, protection, education, and collaboration.
